To mark the end of this very successful season, we’re hosting a special Red Bellies Lunch on Saturday 6 April - before our 1st XV play their last league game of the season v Ventnor RFC at Anstey Park. Depending on the 30 March result (v Ellingham & Ringwood), we’ll either be attempting to win, or celebrating winning, Hampshire 1! We’ll also be celebrating the fact that, this season, we’ve played every home game at Anstey Park - a huge step up from last season when 30% of home league matches had to be played elsewhere.
We’ve already invited numerous guests who were instrumental to our pitch improvement work & the event is open to all Club members (+ their friends & family) - so book NOW while there are still spaces left - and by Tuesday 2 April noon at latest - via Tom Mills (president@altonrfc.club / 07887 596816) The price is just £15 per head & the Bar will be open from 12:00 (to late!) with sit down at 12:45. Esther will be providing a sumptuous feast: homemade steak or chicken pie + vegetables with a great dessert and a cheeseboard on every table.
If you can’t make lunch, be there at 15.00 for kick-off to give our players that all important touchline support.
