Last Saturday (6 April) saw us host the most fantastic Red Bellies lunch by way of celebration. This was one of the best attended lunches we’ve had with members from across the Club joining in along with a wide range of guests - including those who’ve contributed significantly to ARFC’s success this year (not least on the pitch improvement front) from ATC & from H/RFU, as well as key sponsors & suppliers and from many other areas. It was a really special event and made all the more special for many of us by the inclusion of Esther’s incredible pies on the menu. Thank you to Esther and to Christian Coles - for his chef-ing contribution and to everyone else who worked so hard to make this a brilliant lunch.

Thank you for inviting me to lunch last Saturday. It was a very enjoyable day and I was delighted that both teams won magnificent victories. Please pass on my thanks to Tom and Pippa Mills who were such good company at lunch. It was good to meet several old friends at the club.
