I refereed the above match last Sunday, and I would like to record my thanks and congratulations to the players, coaches, parents and spectators at this game. The match was ferociously contested by the players, whilst always within the laws, and the game was both challenging and enjoyable from a refereeing point of view. I heard nothing but loud encouragement to the players from the touchline, and in an era where we hear too often about poor behaviour on touchlines, especially towards referees, there was no sign of such behaviour at this game. Thanks again to both Clubs.
