A highlight of the Alton RFC social calendar will soon be upon us - 1st March. There are over 100 people booked in, but there is still room for a few more.

Last year, the City Lunch was an outstanding event. Once again there will be a legend of the game to entertain us, Simon Shaw of England and British & Irish Lions fame and a giant of a figure from England's most successful era. Additionally there will be a fund raising auction which includes some outstanding lots, from sporting memorabilia to tickets and items generously donated by club members.

You can book tables or buy individual tickets - but why not get a group of friends together and make an event of the day. Tables can hold up to 14 people and with tickets at £95 for a drinks reception, three course meal, good 'starter pack' of wine and an outstanding guest speaker, this is a cannot miss event.
