The session will be co-delivered by Grant Hathaway (England Rugby Player Pathways Officer) and Jack Pattinson (London Irish Developing Player Programme Manager) and will cover a selection of the following topics:

· What/When/Why/Where/How of player profiling
· Playing Philosophy – how does this interact with your planning and profiling
· The job of the coach across the calendar year – planning and periodisation
· Context – How do London Irish DPP/Academy profile players?
· An exploration of biases

The session will cater for all levels of coaching experience and the principles of the workshop will be applicable to both Age Grade and senior rugby.
