The Club are delighted to announce that Lions Sports Academy (www.lionssports.academy) have come on board as the sponsor of the Junior Festival for emerging players. The Festival takes place at Anstey Park on Sunday 15th October, and will see teams from all of Alton’s mini/midi squads compete against seven other clubs.
Now in its second year the Festival aims to build on last years’ success and having a sponsor will make a huge difference in achieving this.
Andy Jones of Lions Sports Academy said ‘We are so pleased to be working with Alton RFC and supporting this event, which gives young rugby players of all abilities a chance to play competitively and continue their development, we hope this is the start of strong working relationship with Alton RFC’
Junior Chairman, Rupert Vitoria commented ‘Last years tournament was a huge success but having Andy and his team from Lions Sports Academy involved helps us to grow the tournament and they will be adding some fun elements on the day which will make this event really stand out. We will be working with Andy and Lions in other areas in the future.’
