I would like to introduce myself to all my fellow Rugby colleagues within Hampshire RFU Clubs. My name is Bernie Rhodes and for those of you who don’t know me I have recently been nominated and appointed to the role of Club Representative within HRFU. I will be representing the Hampshire Clubs on the Management Board as well as the Club Development Committee, chaired by Mark Castle.

I have been involved with Rugby in Hampshire for the last decade, holding various roles within several clubs. I am passionate about Rugby and would like to help make a positive impact on the game we all love.

I do not see my role as representing my views, rather the views of all clubs within the county. I have had the pleasure on meeting many of you over the years but I have not had the opportunity to visit every club within Hampshire. I know we all face unique and different challenges and I want to make sure that my tenure delivers the best possible support, representation and outcomes for the Clubs.

I see my role as not too dissimilar to that of Terry Burwell but at County Level. Where Terry will represent the County at the RFU Exec I will represent the Clubs at CB level.
