Wooden Spoon has been selected as the UK and Ireland benefiting charity for a very special weekend event, the Rugby Armistice Festival, commemorating the centenary of the 1918 Armistice and rugby players who lost their lives serving in The Great War 1914-1918.

An esteemed team of veteran rugby players (including ARFC's Sam Law),all paying their own way, has been selected to represent Wooden Spoon and you can support their fund raising efforts by donating to the charity in support of your favourite (or least favourite!) player.

All tourists have paid their own expenses and every penny raised will help make a difference to the disabled and disadvantaged children Wooden Spoon supports across the UK and Ireland.
