Alton Colts progress to next round of National Cup

Alton Colts chose probably the most important game of the season to post their first victory. After a number of draws and games decided by less than 7 points, Alton Colts posted a 48-27 victory in the first round of the National Colts Cup vs Chinnor.

From 1-19 Alton played an outstanding game, tackling everything that came at them and again creating some excellent scores from front foot ball.

Some key players stood up to be counted, and delivered. Sam, George x2 and Alex L stood out time and time again, with Alex L scoring, or nearly doing a FREDDIE BURNS, an outstanding try from the kick off by Harry Faulkner, who kicked well all day.

Alton now move on to round 2, in anticipation of their yet unknown opposition. Improvement game on game can only give the squad optimism that the season will simply get better and better.
