A relaxing weekend away from League or Cup action

A performance that reflected the friendly approach by both sides

A game which Alton maybe needed after several weeks of confrontational battles in both the League and National Colts Cup. Windsor , understrength needed to borrow a number of Alton players , which were willingly provided.

The game provided the opportunity for Alton to display some exceptional support play which resulted in a number of great tries. However this display was inters pursed with a number of errors that are usually not present. Some missed tackles , some lack of aggression, and some bad decisions, which didn't deflect from what was a good result.

On reflection, a good result and a weekend that was needed by all. Thanks to Windsor for a great performance in the face of many injuries and an under strength side.

Next week sees a return to League action and a home game against Winchester.
