It's difficult to pick any single player out from todays performance, where every single squad player stepped up and delivered. The Alton defence stood strong for the first 20 minutes where a well drilled Marlow side applied continued pressure resulting in a 7-3 early lead. The Alton side continued to dominate the defence and created a number of excellent opportunities off front foot ball with some exceptional tries from Mark Jamieson and Harry Faulkner. Harry further stood out with a flawless kicking performance, with a 100% success rate.

In summary the game was a pleasure to watch as the Alton squad out thought Marlow and created some exceptional team tries.

Worthy of a special mention should be Luke Harris, who as stated by the referee , was the stand out player on the field today, being at the centre of both the defensive and offensive display delivered by Alton.
