This Sunday saw Alton welcome the Trojans academy in the National Colts Cup. Trojans came to Alton in a rich vein of form having dominated their early games in Division 1 of the Hampshire league. Alton led at half time 15-14, after a dominant forwards display. Both sides gave the spectators a high quality display of physical rugby played in a great spirit.
After end to end exchanges throughout the second half, the final score saw Trojans edge a fixture that could have gone either way 33- 29.
Alton return to the Hampshire Cup next weekend at home vs Havant. Come and support the squad return to winning ways and enjoy the rugby that will be on display.
