This coming Saturday we have a very full afternoon of rugby lined up at Anstey Park. Our Senior 1st XV, currently leading Hampshire 1, will be playing 3rd placed Overton and England play South Africa in the first of their Autumn Internationals.

In order that we, and the players. can watch England on TV at 3:00 p.m. the 1st XV kick-off has been brought forward to 1:15 p.m.

Make a very full day of it, join us for the usual pre league match lunch, support the Alton’s 1st XV, and enjoy the International. Lunch is open to every member and their guests. As usual the cost will be £10 per head, sit down this week will be about 12:15 p.m.

If you would like to attend please let me know names and numbers as early as possible; at the latest by 9:00 a.m. on Friday 2nd November.

Those of you who booked verbally last Saturday, (i.e. Charles Clark; Bob Curtis; Dave & Steve Parratt) please note the change of timing.
