CHAlton U16 v Hove U16

U16s on tour!
I should just say what happens on tour stays on tour, but I had such a great time I thought I should mention some of the highlights.
It was a brilliant weekend and I think everyone enjoyed themselves and I would like to thank Tracey my darling wife for organising the whole thing.
The main event was the game but I won't go into much detail except to say that although Hove were a little better than us on the day the game was played half seriously and the players on both sides played the game in the right way and seemed to enjoy the challenge.
As you are aware we were losing quite badly and those present may have noticed I took things into my own hands and got four of Hove's players to change shirts and play for us and then forgot to take our players off (oops), so with 19 players against 15 Hayden managed to score our only try and as the rules state the last try scored wins - we won.
James won the forfeit and did his lap of honour in the budgie smugglers and beach attire. Well done James, everyone should look at the photos.
The end of the game saw Connor given Man of the Match and Tracey, Dick of the day, mainly for running late all weekend (I'd like to add that I wasn't late at any time - Tracey) and also for matching us up against the Sussex Champions (This they weren't when they asked for a fixture!)
I think we can all agree Tracey took it well and did us proud in the challenge finishing second behind Connor.
I would like to finish by saying what made it a special weekend was that everyone behaved apart from Lou who was an absolute disgrace! The boys were a credit to the parents and coaches.
A great weekend!
