The Under 15 girls joined Winchester on Sunday to play at the Wasps St Georges day tournament.
In the pool stage they lost one, drew one and won one. The games were all close and it was great to play some different teams- Fullerians, Grasshopers and Buckingham. In the afternoon we played Basingstoke and although we lost we gave them a pretty good run for their money.
The Alton girls did us proud as usual with a couple of girls making their debuts (although you would never have known) and some great teamwork from all. They always enjoy playing with the Winchester girls who have become great friends this year.
The definitionn of success is always - did they have fun and yes they did and everyone loved the crepes! Thanks to the coaches who came and helped and the parents who got the girls there. Special thanks to Andy Roberts who washed all the shirts from the u13s tournament the day before and brought them back for the u15s.
Our final game of the season is on Saturday at 1.30 - why not come and watch and give these girls your support!
