Update to Regulation 15 With immediate effect..
NB: These regulation changes enable provisions to provide rugby in the summer months for those New to the game or had limited game/practice opportunities & Not an opportunity to extend the season for Club, School, DPP players who have had a full season and will need rest from rugby to engage in other Fun activities during their Summer!

☆Regulation 15 (specifically 15.6) and the Age Grade Codes of Practice (specifically Code 6) are being updated. These changes apply also to summer camp activity which is also covered in the Codes of Practice.

In summary the following is permitted:
• At U11 and below, non-contact training only;
• At U12 and 13, in addition to the above, non-contact matches and competition (if approved by the CB or CSU);
• At U14, 15 and 16, in addition to the above, XRugby7s contact matches and competition and preparation* (if approved by the CB or CSU);
• At U17 and 18, in addition to the above, 7-a-side contact matches and competition and preparation* (if approved by the CB or CSU).
* Preparation is to ensure new players are ready and able to participate in matches and competition safely.
