This is one of a number of opportunities, as members, to have your say in the running of the club. You may recall that last year we moved the timing of the AGM from July to September with a view that more members would attend. It meant we avoided the busy summer holiday period and that the meeting was held “in season” thus making it more relevant. Attendance was certainly up last year and I trust we can continue that trend this year.

In line with the club rules please let me have as soon as possible any nominations for the club officer roles or for the executive committee ensuring that any nomination has the agreement of the nominee.

Also, if you would like to raise a matter under Any Other Business, please let me have the details as soon as you can.

Agenda and papers will be made available 2 weeks prior to the meeting.

In the meantime, I look forward to seeing you at the AGM. The bar, as usual, will be open.
