Thank you to all of you that have volunteered some of your time and expertise to the club. Whether offering to assist with re-opening the clubhouse, guide our communications or join the club strategy meeting, your involvement is greatly appreciated.

To bolster the ranks of the 12 or so bar and clubhouse volunteers who have already come forward, can you offer a few hours and join the clubhouse team? The more the merrier so that the bar can open regularly but without putting too much on the shoulders of too few.

There is talk of free club polo shirts, an annual club volunteer event, and potentially a staff discount on any out of date peanuts*. With offers like this, what's not to like?

Previous bar experience is not required and all volunteers will be offered training. For some, this could be a great opportunity to develop some new skills and formal qualifications. Courses and qualifications relevant to the bar and hospitality industry will be made available to volunteers and paid for by the club.

Pick your shift: Thursday and Friday evenings, Saturday afternoons, evenings and on into the night! Or the more leisurely Sunday opening. Whatever suits you.
