Walk over win to reach quarter-finals of London & SE Junior Vase

Alton were awarded another Home Walk Over on Saturday morning when Becs Old Boys advised them that they could not raise a side. This is third time Alton have been awarded a walk-over in three rounds of this competition this season. They have reached the quarter-finals without touching a rugby ball and await the draw to learn their next intended opponents, date and venue.

Next Saturday, 1st December Alton return to league action when they are away to Winchester’s 2nd XV who are currently bottom of Hampshire 1. Alton will have to ensure they do not trip over the “proverbial banana skin.” Kick-off is at 2:00 p.m. North Walls Park. Nuns Road, Winchester.
