Good training session hosted by Eastleigh on Sunday, with some new games and new skills learnt.
Two things that stood out, were the comments made by Eastleigh's head coach at the end of the session. First of all, that was the largest number they have had, so for us to get 20 boys down to an away friendly on a cold January day shows great commitment all round, especially from all the parents. Secondly, the coach commented on the excellent behaviour, with all the boys fully attentive and well disciplined, a real credit to everyone and the club.
Well done to Zach Hayward for winning the green lace for showing great attributes, Henry for the Endeavour for carrying on despite a few knocks, and Max for his player of the week learning the better way to get his point across is in a controlled constructive manner.
See you all next week. Keep an eye out for Kirsty's update on Alton or Bordon.
