Alton RFC's 2XV, the ‘Blackbacks’, currently play in Counties 5 Hampshire North.

We also act as a development squad ahead of players joining the 1XV, therefore our squad is typically made up of players of all ages and abilities. If you've never played rugby before, haven't played in a long time or are looking for a new squad having recently returned the game or the Alton area, give us a shout - everyone is welcome to join. We train every Thursday evening at Anstey Park, Alton and play most Saturdays during the season.
